I need a pair of work boots to replace my old worn out Danners.

Only want the highest quality, no cheap k-mart shit allowed on my feet

I've got a pair of lace up packer style Airaits, but need some kind of western style pull on boot that will take standing up in on concrete floors for 8-9 hours a day & possibly a grass fire here and there when I don't have my wildland boots on.

Don't want a high heeled boot since I'm going to be standing and walking all day. Right now out of a 9 hour day I sit possibly 30 min all told, so they need to be comfey boots.

Been thinking about looking at the red wing style of pull on boots, but other than that I'm not impressed with the Airaits or Justin western pull on work boots.

They need to be pull on so I can grab & on the run for those late night calls when it's wet/snowy/cold out & there is no time to lace em up.

All my boots are lace up except my Lucchese 2000 boots & I'm starting to think they are not as good as their reputation

Anywhoo, when I get up for a page & slip into a boot I never take time to lace the Danners up.

Have broken 4 or 5 pairs of laces gatting them caught in the house door, car door, the station door & have also steped on em & dang near killed myself tripping over em

I've got 2 pairs of wildland boots & figgure I'll start keeping one at the station for grass fires & such.

I've worn Danners for the last 20+ years but the Military/Police look is cheesey when wearing jeans & a work shirt. Don't want the black boot look either as I'm tired of that style. Heck I've got a really comfey pair or Jungle boots with a wavey sole but hate wearing them with jeans.

I'm not a big fan of wearing anything military looking with civvies even if it's boots.

While the Airaits are comfey, they are not as comfey as all the hype about them would have youo to believe & I doubt I'll get another pair of them.

Was just thinking that hopefully somebody made a comfey western work boot in pull on style that's of a excellent quality.

What do ya all wear & how ya like em

If your Danners worked for you, get a new pair of Danners. If its not broke do not fix it.

I bought myself a pair of 5.11 tactical boots from a local law enforcement supply shop and they are  the most comfortable boots Ive even had.  I drive for UPS and I'm in and out of the truck and up and down stairs for a minimum of 9 hrs a day.  Granted Ive only been wearing them for about 4 weeks but so far they are holding up very well against wear and tear and are lighter then alot of high top sneakers.  My feet and legs finally feeel ok after a day of work.

I bought the best pair of Red Wings money could buy.

They are worth every penny I spent. I am in the HVAC trade so I am on my feet at least 6hrs. a day.

I have a pair of Carolina brand boots for hunting and they've worn quite well and they're as comfortable as you can ask for in a pair of boots.

My feet never hurt after a day of hauling my ass up and down the mountains.

Might want to give them a look.

I love my Red Wings. A little pricey but thay hold up well and are warrantied for life against defects. Plus you can always talk the price down in the store.

with or without steel toe

These are the most comfortable boots that I have ever owned. I wear them as casual shoes.

I see you don't care for the Ariat's but after
going through multiple Redwing, Justin, Georgia,
Dan Post, Wolverine I finally settled on the Ariat
pull on type.  Keep 'em oiled & they are a good boot.

They were the best combination of comfort,
durability of upper & lowers in the concrete/chemical
environment I work in.  They are a bit heavy but they
last at least twice as long as all the others & fit me well.

The slip on factor is a must for me too, just can't
stand lace ups.   Good luck on your quest.
