So, after beating the game, being drown in lava, eaten by any critter big enough to eat me, and shot all to shit; what I really want to know is: Why didn't Roland respawn at the New U station? ...Maybe it's already been asked, but, I'm just curious.

Here's a question - why doesn't jack respawn at the new-U station when you kill him?
Why doesn't jack disable the new-U station for vault hunters? It's Hyperion tech. Why doesn't jack send Saturn, Bunker, Wilhelm, and about 50 Constructors to kill the vault hunters when they are still level 1 and would not be able to fight back? |

Okay, so I polled my customers over the weekend and we've come to the conclusion that Roland spent all of his money on guns and funding a revolution, not to mention a hot girlfriend, that he had nothing left over for the New U. We've also decided that the New U does not accept quarters (as was my idea), so he's dead, Jim. ...Sometimes, work can be a lot of fun.

The developers care about pleasing the customer, but they are more about the game and not the story. They kept calling Zero an android. No real reason. That's just they called him. I've seen a ton of strange conversations about "What is zero????" since release. Everything from human/alien hybrid to a human with replaced parts like Hammerlock. To this day, I'm pretty sure the developers don't care; but, if the internet comes up with a good enough answer, it'll probably be in B3. EDIT: My friend and I had a similar discussion about the New U stations. What if they keep bringing you back no matter what, but it's not 100% when or where. No one on Pandora can escape. That's why the Bandits are totally insane. They have been living the same undying hell over and over. Lit on fire? You come back. Die from falling? You come back in an unoccupied New U across the planet at half your value. Have no money in your account? You come back as a midget or a "special" giant. No matter what, the original is dead. The copy just never got spawned or got spawned far enough away to not matter. Somewhere out there, there is a black midget strapped to a shield next to a Handsome midget complaining about it. |

I super love the game and have, each night I've played it, woken my wife up with gales of laughter. I bought the Ultimate Vault Hunter's Edition, and even that has been wildly entertaining around the apartment. I really can't say enough good things about the game, truly. Gearbox knocked it out of the park with both games as far as I'm concerned, and I really can't wait for more.  Somewhere out there, there is a black midget strapped to a shield next to a Handsome midget complaining about it. If they do this, I will seriously shit someone's pants with the utmost glee. Neat idea about the New U's, it brings to mind the translocator in Unreal Tournament.  |

The DLC this time around is a happy medium between sizes and was very well planned out. I missed out focus testing the newest dlc this weekend because the slots filled up in about 30 seconds. Oh well. Hopefully I'll get in on Aliens. |
