Botach!?!? > General Discussion

So, Botach calls about sending out my 3 PS90 mags and my 3 G17 mags 3 weeks ago. Said that the G17 mags were on back order. Said htey send the other mags right out...STILL NO PS90 MAGS! WTF?!?!?! Two calls and 2 emails later...no replies. Is this their usual MO?

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that you didn't use the ARFCOM search feature before you placed your order.

It isn't important that they don't care and screw you over, the important thing is they are $4 cheaper than a reputable dealer.

i have never had a problrm with them. A co-worker though did have the same problem as the OP. oh well.

Checked the last 30 days and didn't find anything. I was just really suprised that in the first 2 days they called about the G17's on backorder, but "they would send the others right out!"

How to order from BOTACH.

1. Place order and determine time frame you are willing to wait.
2. if you receive your CC statement before receiveing the product and the time frame you determined is acceptable ahs passed, contedst CC chareges.

Pretty simple thing really.

Thats actually my policy with any online vendor. Never had to contest charges yet with Botach. Cant say the same for sportsmans guide, lightfighter or majors surplus though.

Lots of people have had great luck when placing their orders by phone. If you get someone on the line and don't order anything that they don't have in stock, you can have a decent experience.

Theyve always done right by me on the mutlitple orders Ive placed and I'm placing 2 more this week.

my g 17 mags shipped monday. I also ordered them with a ton of other stuff that was sent day of order. They were able to send both of mine under "free shipping" since they came out over 100$ each shipment. They are waiting to get your whole order before shipping. I waited a month to get my 11 g 17 mags at 14.99 each. The cheapest I can find them now it 16$.

saved me 25$ + shipping (which we all know would have been 1-2 $ a mag). I just had to be patient.

heres the deal... i placed an order on 5-1-07 with 2nd day shipping..
i made ~9-10 calls, ~ 6-7 e-mails and NEVER got a return on either.
just when i figured they lost or didn't give a shit, i got an e-mail sayin it will be delivered on fri (5-11-07), im so glad i payed for the extra shipping! if they didnt have something thats fine JUST LET ME #@%k!*g KNOW!. wtf!
there customer service sucks! actualy its more like o (for none)

i will not be getting anything from them again. im sticking with LA POLICE GEAR, they actualy called me if somethings out of stock.

aza rant off!

Wow...I was worried. BUT..I got my stuff in today. I guess they remove the boxes and bags to ship. I'm just happy I got it in after all the bad feedback. Anyway...just an update!

Botach sucks.

I have had a few good transactions with them, but the good is far outweighed by the bad.

They have great prices though! If the items are in stock, that is.

FYI, FWIW, YMMV, etc.,

After seeing some great prices from Botach, I did some research and found many reports like this one and decided not to order from them.

While shopping around, I found this web site with good prices.
