Let me first say that I never would never willingly buy something from Botach, much less recommend them to my friend. I've heard all the horror stories, and I remember when they got booted from this site. Aimless sums it up in a thread not long ago:

Bullshit. They were an advertiser here for awhile. They had a constant, constant steam of complaints, charging for what was not in stock, not refunding money for ages, never shipping stuff they had been paid for etc. they came here with a pointman, he was really a salesman for their firearms, but he said he would cleanup other problems. Nope even with a guy on the inside they just could not fill orders. They just are fuck ups, always have been, they got their money refunded and were removed from the site. So long story short, I'm helping my buddy buy a .22 for his kids. He's got $500 to spend, I say M&P15-22. I find him a CA model for $499 on GunBroker from an A+ seller with lots of feedback, and we plot to un-pin the stock and replace the bullet button with a real mag catch from my parts bin. They got their money on the 17th and still haven't shipped. I can understand a backorder through their site, but GunBroker auctions aren't for getting in line. If you're selling, you either have it or you don't! Also, they're not returning emails or voicemails and not answering the phone. Botach, and I don't blame them, doesn't sell under their own name on GunBroker. Oh, when you buy something and get to look at their contact info, it's all Botach. But their username is bkb3423, and their listings never mention a company name once. You can't see the contact info until you actually buy. Also, A+ ratings are apparently pretty generous on GB. They have 96% positive feedback. I'd stay away from a 96% seller on eBay: But "A+" sounded good so I told him to go for it. I'd say they're shamming the GB feedback system too, since there was one user recently who left 13 separate feedbacks on the same day. Unsurprised. Silver lining? They have enough recent negative feedback that GunBroker has shut down their account, at least temporarily: You are unable to send email to this recipient because the recipients account at this auction site has been disabled. For security reasons email cannot be sent to disabled accounts.
I guess it doesn't stop their auto-relist auctions from hitting the site, since there are still plenty of auctions up under bkb3423. ETA: I don't know if it's funny, sad, or maddening but despite having their account disabled they've still got somebody shilling GB auctions on their Facebook page as recently as 22 hours ago. |

Just wait, you will have plenty of people show up and post about how they received everything just fine and the people complaining are just whining. It happens in every thread about Botach. This Oh, I fully expect it. Par for the course. Just thought I'd warn people about their GB practices - not posting their business name is one more shady thing on the pile of shady things they're accumulating. |

OpticsPlanet is notorious for putting stuff up on Amazon and Ebay and not having it in stock. Bought a Banshee Plate Carrier last year when it said was in stock, got an email saying it was out of stock and would take like 3 weeks to get to me. |

I've placed three orders with PSA, one for an upper. The upper was build-to-order and I knew that going in. Also have two personal friends that have ordered PSA uppers and gotten the same experience.
The other two orders were for a Vortex Strikefire and some ammo. Those shipped quick. If I had bought something from PSA on Gun Broker and it was build to order without being listed as such, I'd be just as PO'd as I am at Botach. Not saying PSA doesn't sometimes give people the shaft... but aren't they pretty consistent about in-stock rifless/uppers being build to order? I've ordered in-stock uppers from places like Rainier and gotten excellent, fast service. I think PSA should change their ways, but consistency counts for something in my book. With Botach, it's luck of the draw: will you get your item or will you get a bobcat in a box? (See above pic. )
