What goes on the 2 loops in the middle?

I can make it trumpet a bit, but just one note.

I've seen people that played trumpet for 5 or more years having trouble with bugles.

Keep at it. You'll get there.

I've played Trumpet for over 30 yrs,was in a drum and bugle corps also. A Bugle is not a Trumpet.

A couple of our Boy Scouts just earned the Bugling Merit Badge at Winter camp.

A friend of mine teaches people to play the Bugle but I haven't got a chance to try it myself.
