I've been wanting to purchase one for years and fi ally broke down and bought a used one when I saw one for a pri e I couldnt refuse.
Its an Alkin model W31E with auto dr as ins and auto pressure cut off. It was manufactured in 2003 but the pimp was replaced 100 hours ago. The unit has 1200 hours total on it. Its rated for filling banks and nitrox. Anyo e use an Alkin before? I bought it sight unseen from a shop in Florida. They guarantee that it works. Now I need to purchase some 444 cf tanks for the banks and an oxygen tank for Nitrox. Then will come experimenting with mixing trimix. Oh, I.got it for $1800 us shipping. |

Can't help with the compressor, but this stuff comes up now and again down here on cracklist.. There are some tanks for sale in West Palm Beach at the moment.
There is NO WAY I would be able to get the fajita-maker on board with a compressor. I just picked up an analyzer and had to BS my way through that..."safer and all dat" Be sure to update this when you get it setup. |

I know what you mean, I had to come up with some creative reasoning to justify purchasing it. I think I will owe her big time. It's supposed to ship on Monday. I'll post pics and a report. |
