I'm pretty pissed over this terrorist being released, I guess the only thing I can do is boycot Scotland and Scotish goods and send them an e-mail telling them.

Anyone else feel this way?

I can't, I'm part Scottish. I have family over there, and If I get the chance to go there again, I will. I don't agree with them letting the bomber go, or most of the stuff they do, but I'm not going to turn down a chance to see my family because of that.

scotch.

Edit: really good scotch actually. we went to a scotch maker (distillery is the right term?) over there, and they were selling there scotch at 50 pounds a bottle. ($100 U.S. dollars at the time we went.)

They make the bad scotch there too.

I am going to hold off on judgement for now. I really want to believe and will until proven wrong, that the bulk of the Scottish PEOPLE find this as outrageous as we do. We'll see soon enough.

oh it is. its still worth visiting at least once though. I went to a castle that still had people living in it, and got to see a rich old lady. I should have asked her for money for the lulz, but I didn't want to get kicked out.

It saddens me  to think that my people when from brave heart to Britain's bitch.

Only if we boycott ourselves for the closing of Gitmo. Afterall we've already let some terrorists go free.

I am of Scottish descent, always wore my tartan and kilt with pride.  I have my clan badge tattooed on my right shoulder.

After reading the transcript of Wolf Blitzer's interview with Scottish Minister of Justice I am disgusted and ashamed.

The Scottish people had better not stand for this...

I used to be a big Scotch drinker.  A few years ago, I realized that good American bourbon or rye whisky was just as nuanced and tasty as most Scotch - AND I was supporting American workers and companies.  We took a few vacations around Kentucky and I've visited quite a few distilleries.

Now I can look forward tonight to hoisting up a tumbler of Sazerac or Pappy Van Winkle and uttering, "F**k You, Scotland!" as my salute...

That place is a fucking dump. If you've ever seen Trainspotting, it's a pretty accurate representation.

Puke and dog shit all over the streets.
Big ugly scottish women binge drinking every where.
Lots of homeless people.
Lots of junkies.
Lots of dirty hippies.
Tracksuit wearing teenagers looking to stab you.
Fringe festival
The ridiculous looking Scottish parliament building... 1974 called, they want their GAY back.
Crappy food... boiled turnips, moldy cheese and sheep guts
Socialistic little bureaucrats everywhere.

Welcome to Scotland, enjoy your stay.

Hmmm its like judges in the U.S. never make any piss poor decisions (just ask Sotomayor).  I wouldn't judge, no pun intended, a country based on the actions of one judge.
