Lighten up guys. Everyone is here for a different reason and it's not always for deep soul searching topics. I like a mix of good info in all areas but love to be entertained. Captain Obvious is harmless and can often be quite entertaining as well. I disagree strongly with 90% of the crap you have posted here HANGFIRE but you certainly have had your good moments too. It all evens out in the end. Content is highly overrated |

I am not trying to imply that humor is not appreciated or wanted on these forums. Hell, I have had some serious belly laughs from stuff posted on AR15.com. My only point is that Captian Obvious is a one trick pony, and that if he wants to hang around, fine... but for the love of God, can he PLEASE come up with some new material? [whacko] |

Not to critisize or defend anyone, but do we not tell people, "If you don't like guns, don't buy one." "If you don't like guns on TV, change the channel." "If you think Rosie's a Hippo...critical, gun bashing, HCI whore, then don't watch her show or eat HoHos." Then why can't those who are not entertained by someone just ignore their threads and move on, and let the rest have a laugh at his expense. If he is using unecesary bandwidth and costing AR15 money with his non-gun posts I would imagine the mods would have nuked him. At least he is not flaming others who disagree with him. BTW..Capt. love the shame bow, still holding it together when he's attacked. By the way, I own 3 guns, not 1 of which is an AR or AK, does this mean I should leave this site, even though it has led me to spread the word about the evils our "leaders" are bearing upon us. just my $1.50s worth. |

| Alot of the old timers from the old AR15.com don't seem to be present on this board anymore and there is less interest in the gun related forums. I would say that we all need to avoid responding to these trivial/BS topics and the board will be a whole lot better. Censorship will not solve the problem. |
