Never heard of it....let us know if it suxs. Based on the book of the same title. It's about an SAS team during Operation Desert Storm. They were hunting scuds when they got captured, well all but one were captured. There is another movie about this titled "The one that got away". I met some guys years ago in the British TA that say Andy Mcnabb is full of shit and an equal amount that say he is not, so I don't know. |

I just ordered a copy of this movie from Amazon. Is it worth my ten bucks? It received 4 out of 5 stars on the website. http://i45.tinypic.com/2ebvn11.jpg No, it's really badly done |

I think it's a good example of making a decent movie on a low budget. just to clarify in light of Bradder's comment, it appears to be something that was made on a shoe string for BBC television, or something like that. I still say it's not a bad movie even if it does kind of look like an episode of Doctor Who from the special effects etc department

Quoted: Heard a number of guys in the SOF community talk a lot of shit about that operation. Is there anybody in the military who ever did anything who didn't get subsequently shit talked? Didn't the SEAL who had that book get the same treatment?I think one of the other team members bad mouths "Andy McNabb" about this incident. I do like "McNabb"'s pulp fiction novels, hard to find sometimes as I think they are mainly sold in England

Quoted: Quoted: It's good, especially the firefight with the Iraqi armored squad while on open ground with narration. Oh, you mean the one that never happened. From what I gather, Bravo Two Zero is a great piece of fiction Couldn't say cause I wasn't there BUT strictly pertaining to the scene in the movie, that part was quite good. |

Not to bad but as always the book is better. The book was slow and dry. I enjoyed the movie. There is some speculation as to how factual McNabb's account is but, he was there and I wasn't so... I recomend all of his fiction books, though. They are pretty good. Better than Vince Flynn stuff and considerably better than Marcinko's books (with the exception of Red Cell). |

Otherwise, one looks quite the fool. |
