I get the freshbaked stuff from the safeway if I actually buy someone. It normally gets eaten within 24-36 hours so it doesnt have time to get stale

The Harvey's storebrand Honey Wheat and 100% Whole Wheat are pretty decent especially at $1.29 a loaf.

I love Roman Meal.  A couple months ago went on a Rye bread kick but gave it up,  seemed as though I was eating grass, so went back to Roman Meal again

I am sorry to hear about your dilemma.
I check the expiration date before buying bread. Lately, I have been buying potato bread.

Personally I enjoy the liquid version of bread my self! But it is hard to put peanut butter and jelly on it.

"anymore?"the loaf bread is the same shit since I was I kid and I'm 35.

In fact, I would say that most of the better grocery stores now have a decent selection of "artisan" breads baked in-store that you couldn't get 10 or so years ago w/o going to a bakery.

This is still open?

I used bread of the corn and white varieties to make dressing today.

Buy some whole-wheat burrito-sized tortillas instead of bread, and make 'wraps' like subway and arby's....

The bread delivery guy rotates the stock when he delivers it.  Reach to the back of the display and you will get the freshest bread.

I like 9 Grain bread myself.
