Drove the Old Mojave Road AAR Thread in Cali Hometown Forum
Here's breakfast from Monday morning. Preparation Pics: Requisite Bacon done in cast iron on a Coleman stove.
Tending the bacon. Armed to fend off potential bacon thieves. (Yes, contrary to popular opinion around here, we can carry firearms in Cali. It's even loaded. Note my ambidextrous bacon cooking technique. Tongs in weak hand leaving strong hand free to draw and engage Bacon Tangos. Slightly bladed.
My loyal and trust-worthy Pure Bred Attack Shepherd (PBAS) pulling Bacon Security by my side. (Or possibly waiting for me to drop some)
Last batch of bacon nearing completion. Rest of it is under the upside down plate staying warm.
Eggs are in.
Finished Breakfast.

damn I need to fet out to the desert. You out hunting or just cooking breakfast? Driving the Old Mojave Trail and camping out. Started from just West of the Colorado river (North of Needles CA and South of Laughlin NV) West to Baker CA. About 120 miles more or less over 3 days across the desert. Also did some shooting with my son on day 3 on BLM land. There's a link to my AAR from the trip in my first post in this thread. |
