I placed an order for some tools and parts this thursday at 7:30am pacific time, by 10:00am I had the shipping confirmation in my inbox. That is one awsome organization! |

I guess I'll be the first one with a Brownells horror story. I ordered some Ed Brown 1911 parts from them. All I wanted was a USGI style recoil system, like $20 worth of parts. Then figured while I was ordering, I should get some mags too. I wanted some slim grips for carry, what the hell, I'll save on shipping if I order them now. Then I had that F-Class rifle project that never really took off, I may as well get a scope base and some rings for it. A freaking $20 order turned into like $300. And then those sorry bastards got my stuff to me before the end of the week (I ordered on a Monday). And they also included one of those big fat master catalogs, trying to entice me to buy more stuff. Heartless, low life, scumbag SOBs. Brownells is great, ain't they?

Dude...! I have a few thousand horror stories just like this one...!!! |
+1. i jsut wish they offered the same stuff as Midway. There's lots of items one place will have, but not the other. My C&R expired, and i haven't gotten the new one yet. Midway yanked my dealer status asap. Brownells didn't. I did some looking into it. Brownells offers dealer pricing to military also. Midway only offers it for military units...not individuals. |
Use Midway alot and the shipping is pretty quick compared to others that take 3 days just to get it out their door.

![]() I have had many a $20 order go over $200. This is one company that I have never had a negative issue with. |

Brownells lifetime satisfaction guarentee is why i check there first. You will never get stuck with something that doesnt work. CMC trigger took a dump on me. CMC warranty was only 90 days and i had it 18 months. Called brownells and they said send it back, no problem. I asked them what their actual warranty was and they said return anything, anytime for any reason for a full refund. |
