In the past, I know arfcom has sent contingents into browser based games. Cybernations, Lunar Wars, and Tribal Wars all come to mind. I've gotten into Pardus lately, it's a daily or semi daily type browser based game. Real time, sorta a bastard child of Eve and Privateer. Has some good opportunities for trolling through economic warfare, or flat out piracy (when you get senior enough), not to mention the age old forum "NO U!" fights. I've hooked up with a pretty decent alliance who knows I plan on starting my own thing once I get the feel for it. I've traditionally played with (and/or ran) Fark alliances, but I've run with Arfcom as well. If anyone is interested, the link is www.pardus.at , I'm on the Artemis server. There is a tutorial when you start to get you the basic mechanics. Once you finish the tutorial, you pick your race, faction, and start location. I went with Federation Human, and started in the Federation Human Core. In game name is Geo Logist, look me up if you join up. |
