Saw this on gizmodo today.  Pretty cool.

I'm not sure what just happened, but I think I accidentally tore a hole open in space-time.

Sorry.

It apparently won't work with my computer; it is not supported.  I'm not sure what software I need to use it.

We use them so simulate birds for analytical ingestion testing, computer simulation of a bird strike on a jet engine fan blade.  A block of particles with the proper relationship amongst the particles makes a fairly good substitute for a bird, or with a little tweaking, a hail stone.

I just did a Tunguska sim by slamming the impactor onto the left side of my screen, say 3 inches up on the Y axis as though it exploded a certain distance above the ground....and, by God, there was a really good sim of why trees were standing at Ground Zero but none were standing outside of it!!!!

VERY cool!!!
