It's cold up here tonight on Cave Mountain. |
|
It was 18 degrees this afternoon here in northern Virginia, with an inch of snow on the ground. Good thing I finished planting my tulip bulbs during the last warm spell (yesterday).
They are having record low temperatures and heavy snowfalls the last couple of days in Greece. (They're obviously not used to this.) They celebrate Epiphany in Greece on Jan. 7 (today). The tradition is for the priest or bishop to throw a Cross into the local harbor water, and for the young men to dive in and try to retrieve it. Only the hardiest of the hardy will do that today. |

Post a picture of your dashboard thermometer as proof. Attached File It got down to 7 by the time I made it to my neck of the woods. |

I spent practically the entire day outside and didn't get cold. It was great!
