I'm looking for a program that will handle not only my income and expenses, but 5 bank accounts at 3 different banks. The more comprehensive the better, the cheaper the better.

Plus, it has budgeting and alerts. A good excel spreadsheet will also cover everything you need to do, if you know how to set it up right. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I wish I could suggest something but since the free Quicken Online went away, I am back to pencil and paper. Mint.com is nowhere as good as Quicken Online and they constantly are trying to sell you on new credit cards and whatnot. Edit, maybe the installed personal edition of quicken that you can pay for might do what you need to do. |

I liked mint, but i don't know about putting all that info online. on the other hand, it lets me and my fiance access it, since work keeps us apart at least half the week. Basically, i want to see monthly bills, a way to check them as paid, and a way to see all my accounts together at once (i know i'll have to input each transaction) |
Three banks and two people? Or are the more identities people to keep track of?
You are looking for personal (family) software, not a business financial package right? Unfortunately, the business packages I know about that would do that would never be called "cheap".
And I am not familar with the home products. Sorry. |

And I am not familar with the home products. Sorry. 4 people actually, but that account doesn't count. My fiance has 2 checking accounts at one bank. I have a checking and a savings account at another. We have a joint checking account at yet a third bank. At that third bank, I have a checking account set up with my boss and his wife for business expenses. That one is totally seperate and while available for personal use, its payroll deduction if I do, so not really an issue. We're trying to see every thing, bills and accounts, on one page, be able to check the bills off as paid when we pay them, and generally keep things straight to rebuild our credit. We're also about to buy a house so we really need to be on top of things. We pretty much live on 3/5ths of our monthly income so we're not at a huge risk, but i like knowing exactly what's going on. |
