Well I might be doing some traveling outside Ca this summer and I want to get in contact with a few different states and find out who recognizes my permit. I knowwww.packing.org has info. But I would personally like to talk to someone in their state department and get a final word and possibly a written proof of acceptance. That's all I need is to have my ass get busted because something on the net was incorrect.
Who should I contact form the state to ask this type of question?

Usually State Police.  Be carefull about localities though.  See if the states you are going through have a state level RKBA org and try contacting them.

Well the 2 states Im planning on right now are Arizona and Idaho. Drive to AZ and fly to Idaho. Now Arizona is an open carry state, that includes non-residents also doesnt it?

Its not the state thats hard to get one. Its the counties. I live in the central valley and are mostly conservative. Most of the people I am around have permits. I got mine on my 22 birthday. Just renewed it a couple days ago.

Let's see, Calif does not honor any other state permits. Now why should any other honor Calif.? I live in Vermont, you can carry here as can any other person who drives into our state, no other permit needed. You guys really need to do something about your respective states. You (not you personally [:D]) bitch about liberal Vermont, but would love to have the rights we enjoy. come on over for the summer. It is the second Thurs in July and it gets to about 65 degrees!
