Really didnt want to post this here, but I dont know where else to look.

Is there anybody out there that can give me advice on what CIA CS is looking for?

And Im not referring to ehow or wikihow or any of that shit.

Im not expecting much, and Im not gonna go into any details, but if you know anything or know anyone who may know anything I'd greatly appreciate any advice.

I did send a request for info to the recruiters, maybe hear back in a year or two.

Thanks.

I would be happy to talk to you about it, but then id have to kill you

Im not really sure what your trying to ask? I assume that your either in school or a recent grad with a Bachleors?

If so CIA would of been available to you in person at any of the campus or regional job fairs or employment events?

The Agency recruits and hires young people just like every single other major government organization and large Corporation or fortune 500.

They offer massive Student Internships and Summer programs that you probably should look into, some are offered to recent grads as well.

To apply online please view our available student positions on the following pages: Analytical, Clandestine Service, Language, Science, Engineering & Technology, or Business, IT & Security. Applications for Summer 2013 employment will be accepted until 15 October 2012. Applications for winter, spring, and fall employment should be sent nine to twelve months before the desired start date.

Since it appears that your not looking to join based on a military backround unless your still fairly young, you need to either contact a recruiter or start to submit your application/resume and continue to strengthen your experience.

Obviously speaking a foreign language will get you through a bunch of doors, but otherwise at least at my school those  students who excelled were being actively recruited by CIA right alongside all the other major Corps.

As far as CS, again its simply a matter of literally downloading the application for a trainee position. But obviously its extremely competitive. and to be totally blunt with you. Given the amount of returning Veterans with massive amounts of foreign policy, language, and cultural experience, not to mention the Military and government backround. And the fact that your just now looking into talking to them and applying bascically cold, I would say its a nearly impossible endeveor. These people are almost always either recruited very hard while still in and while coming out of school, or in the past back when the person I know was involved happened to be very close with one of those people and also happened to be on his way to the righ tplace at the right time and also happened to have the proper backround for a type of work that they were interested in putting a second person on. Bascially jsut combination of blind luck and the classic who you know not what you know.

If your asking more specifically about what the job entails. I could also put you in contact with two former employees, both of whom were served in the Clandestine Services for short periods of time through work with one  of the Countries to our South.  they both did so in their early to mid 30's. From all the stories I've been told over the years, its nothing like what a young person might imagine it would be. At least for someone working in Country from a non military background.  If you have any specific questions you can pm me and ill pass it along for an answer...
