While what you're saying is pretty much true, the several I knew about 10-12 years ago were badasses.   ETA: but they were already badasses who just happened to be CISSPs, not because of the cert.

CISSPs nowadays... not so much.  Dime a dozen.

Honestly, it's multiple choice and based on your experience it should really be basic/common knowledge.

However, to answer your question here are a few items you may find useful for review:

Nice overview, study plan here (and post exam)
The Official (ISC)2 CISSP CBK Review Seminar Student Handbook
CCCure Discussion Forum
CCCure FREE Practice Tests  ($39)
Study/Summary/Review sheets

ETA:  good luck.

I have quite a few security related certs including CISSP.

It's easy to horde a lot of resources and have too much information for the exam. If I had to go back and do it again based on what I know now I would use the following items: The latest Shon Harris book, the paid version of the cccure practice questions, and the CISSP for dummies book. As a bonus you may want to track down the Shon Harris mp3 files to listen to as well.

Yes, CISSP among others... the suggestions by Avenger069 are also worthwhile.

Thanks guys, I just downloaded Shon Harris 10 part DVD series (free by the way).  I have all the information that will be needed.  Appreciate it!

Info above pretty spot on.  Exam is less technical and more about management of IT systems.

Hardest part of exam is waiting weeks to get results.
