Right now I am regretting not ordering my Garand. My 2 Mossberg M44's just arrived. THEY LOOK BRAND NEW!!!! Woo Hoo!!!!! Only a 5.5 month wait!!! |

Five and a half months is better than never! Where else are you going to find a 22 with that history and in that condition? Just curious, how long was it between the time you sent in the packet and when you heard back from them that it was approved? My great-nephew has been attempting to get an M-1 out of them since last September (after I got him excited about the rifle after watching Band of Brothers with him). He hasn't heard back from them yet from the last set of paperwork he sent in. I was just wondering what to expect since so far, the employees at the CMP haven't been any help at all.z |

I think there are about 2 or 3 people full time in ALabama. Thank Klinton and the former senate for slashing their funding. When you finally do get through, they are very helpful. It was approved in about 1-2 mos. You should give them a ring. BTW, which Garand did you go for? On www.odcmp.com , there are a few garands that have a 1-2 year wait for them, due to them being rare... |
| I also received 2 Mossbergs. Excellent bore, and metal(parkerized). One had a shattered triggerguard. It is bakelite and totally wasted. I ordered 2 replacement trigger guards from Numrich Arms 1-845-679-2417 @ 15.40 ea., and two mags @37.45 ea. I thought the mags were outrageous, but they look original, are in great shape, and I couldn't find them anyplace else. The mags have a screw in piece that goes in the bottom, one was missing, they sent the piece out right away.My stocks need to be refinished.I ordered these on 3/20/02, along with two Springfield '03's. I received the Mossbergs on 5/29 and the Springfields on 6/6(D-Day) and on 6/12. Last year I ordered some Garands, a Kimber, and ammo.Received it all in less than THREE WEEKS!I couldn't believe it. |
