Which America are they preserving? It's not the original Constitutional America of our founders - they literally enslaved people.
It's not Lincoln's America - he would have been banned from arfcom posthaste for explicitly advocating white racial supremacy. It's not the so-called "golden age" of the 1950s, when separate water fountains based on skin color were a thing. It could be modern America, where banning trannys is a hate crime; but not all parts of it. Preserving America is a nice tagline (conservatives certainly like the brand), but America is a hydra, not a monolith. |
