I bought CS 3 weeks ago when I decided that I did not want to trust a 9 hour 90 MEG d/l at 31.2k. Then I find out there is a stupid 82 MEG patch that is required to play. So the game just sat useless all of this time until last night. I started the d/l of the patch at 12am with an estimated time of 7 HOURS. I get up at 5 this morning the thing is still going at 62 megs and 2 hours left to go. Great, I thought, I would finally be playing the damn game today. 1 hour later I check again and the ^#&^%$*^&%@ ftp server timed out!!!! WTF!!!!! Now it says I have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!

Where in the hell can I d/l the patch in segements or at least somewhere it will let me continue if the connection is interrupted?

Use download accelerator (get it at CNET). If your connection is broken or reset, you will not lose whatever portion of the program that you have already downloaded.

Here ya go... http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-3282264-100-6289136.html?tag=list

Try clicking on the same link that you used the first time. It will more than likely start downloading where it left off.
Good luck

Go to www.download.com (which is owned by C/net) and get Gozilla or GetRight.  Both will offer faster transfers by segmenting files, and both will allow you to resume.

After you do, go to www.dayofdefeatmod.com and download IT 9another 100MB) You won't regret it. :)
