I did a search and didnt come across a CS: GO thread. That seems crazy. Surely there are plenty of arfcommers into it?
I only have about 50 hours played and I still havent won enough comp matches to be ranked, but I only play a comp match every now and then. I play a lot of death match and casual, though. Normally end up in the top 3 in active DM. Comp stresses me out and seems to be way too dependent on matchmaking. I'm getting to the point that I can hold my own and pull off the occasional nice save, but on a team where no one communicates and everyone just goes lone wolf, we get stomped. The same is true vice versa if I can find a somewhat cohesive team and we just roll the other team over. More parity would be nice... I suppose that happens more as you gain rank. Overwatch is more like a MOBA than a competitive FPS tbh. The 20 tick servers also make it kind of shitty for true competitive. The ELO system in ranked also isn't as balanced as the one in CS:GO imo. Anyway, I play a lot of CS. I have a smurf account that I keep around Gold Nova 4 and MG1 if anyone wants to play sometime. |

I play on occasion. I pretty much just play it now only when i have the urge to shoot shit but cant go to the range because my current computer doesn't have a GPU, i pretty much hate the community now a days.

I picked up Squad and been playing a lot less CS GO lately. Decided to jump into a comp match and for the first time I had to abandon (kid woke up screaming bloody murder). I ranked down from SE to Silver 3  . I know abandoning isnt cool but I've done it exactly once is almost 200 hrs.
I'll probably stick with Squad. Community is 87% better and its a lot more engaging. |
