[ARCHIVED THREAD] - CZ Face (Page 1 of 2)
| It was funny when my FIL shot my CZ 75 and looked back at me said something is wrong with it. I look at him puzzled and he says I cannot miss the center of the target. Seen the face a few times now. My fiance her go to pistol is what used to be my CZ 75 and forced me to buy a SP01 for myself. |

Then there are the rest of us who realize after taking the CZ apart that no there is not sand in the trigger components it is meant to feel like 2 pieces of sandpaper rubbing together during the long mushy trigger pull. http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag21/Subsonic81/bitter-taste-guy-121008_zps9ljqiili.jpg |

You know, if you're going to fake a search, at least remove the URL header.
Or anyone else can do it too

I call bullshit here. Every CZ I bought came with a 25 meter target, but somehow you got one at 7 yards? Riiiight. |

The first CZ I shot was a 75.
It was a hot, sweaty, humid, tired, training night. I have normal size hands, can shoot a Glock 21 and M9 with no complaints. The trigger reach to the DA pull was too long, but the safety was too far away to use very well as a SA. I loaded it, went to decock it and the hammer covered in oil slipped out my sweaty, greasy hand (from the goofy inside-out slide) and ND'd right in front of the BORTAC guys I was with. It was the only round I ever shot from a CZ. I cleared it and handed it back to the guy who brought it. My face was more like pissed off compared to the guy in the op. |

That was my face the first time I shot a nice CZ. You can tell the haters in here, they have never shot one. That was my second CZ I had work on. I thought it would be better being a shadow but it was Meh at best. My Wilson Combat Beretta 92G Brigadier Tactical (with trigger job) is much nicer. I wish it wasn't DA/SA but it is by far the best shooting 9mm I have had. |

No dude. I shot it at 7 yards. Factory target showed same high and off. RIF. Edge of factory target, matter of fact. But I guess on the target is acceptable for them. |

I love my CZ-75BD Police and SP-01. They have both however had their trigger pulls fixed with about $100 worth of Cajun parts and some polishing. |

Uhhh yeah its a CZ Czechmate, its a standard offering factory gun http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-75-ts-czechmate-9mm-black-2x20-rd-1x26-rd-mags/ http://2ht1mik98ka4dogie28vqc4y.wpengine.netdna-cdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/CZ-Czechamte-Profile.jpg You should pull you head out of your ass before running your mouth boy. I have a 75B and it is a very good gun, I like it about as much as my Sig 229, 92FS, Hi-Power and various Glocks. But I don't understand this unbridled fanboism going on. It is a good gun but it is not my favorite gun. |

You said you were shooting the same POI off center at 7 yds as the factory target showed at 25 meters. Thus the BS flag Having to deal with unregulated sights, drift the rear, change the front which entails buying a new front sight and having it drilled. I really tried to like it. But the PITA sight issue plus long DA were too much for me. You shouldn't have to buy an "awesome" gun, then turn around and send it off for work. |

For $3,317 I would think you should feel that way, but spending #3,317 on most any factory race gun should do the same. |

I owned a 75 SAO Shadow that CZ Customs did trigger work with their competition hammer and all. It was ok but it still had to much take up and the break was mushy with a little travel not crisp like breaking a glass rod. With the cost of the gun and the work I was expecting more. That was my second CZ I had work on. I thought it would be better being a shadow but it was Meh at best. My Wilson Combat Beretta 92G Brigadier Tactical (with trigger job) is much nicer. Mine was as tight as you could get it, but I was having problems with the trigger reset, found out a single flake of I burned powder would keep the trigger from resetting. I'll take a touch of takeup . |

$3,300 is cheap for a out of the box race gun with mags and accessories. Most START around $4k for just the gun, add a few very expensive mags, optic, accessories, etc and it jumps in the $5k-6k range easily. Quoted:

I kind of want a CZ75, I want a Hi-power more though. CZ is similar but the continued advancement of it over the years has made it better, imo. If the HP had been modified, customized and used in competition as much I'm sure there would be trigger options that would make it also a great modern pistol. But it hasn't and it's not. |
