I've tantalized more than a few folks recently with pictures of the pre-B CZ-75 that came my way recently.
But now, I want to talk about another Czech firearm--the ZH-304. Way back when giants lizards roamed the Earth and when I was young, slim and good looking, I used to drool over the Pragotrade catalogue.
Pragotrade was the company that imported Czech firearms into Canada and while I always wanted the CZ-75, I also used to daydream about the ZH-300 and ZH-304 combination guns. I just thought that it would be terribly cool to have both a rifle and shotgun in one weapon. Now of course, there are some that would consider me to be a fudd; but all I can say is that a cool gun is a cool gun. And I always wanted a sweet Czech combination gun.
Well, back in 2009, I managed to find a ZH-300 in excellent condition. It has a 7x57R rifle barrel and a 12 gage shotgun barrel all in one weapon. And the gun is very accurate too. I bought the gun for $1500 and the price included a pair of 12 gage shotgun barrels so I can also make an over under shotgun from the combination gun's frame.
The piece features rust bluing and it is a really nice looking piece. Just looking at it makes me realize that I need more Czech guns.
Buy the way, I have a copy of the 1987 Gun Digest Annual and a ZH-304 used to cost $2799 way back then.

Cool as hell gun, love CZ weapons. Which trigger fires the rifle? You would have to "learn the gun" well so as not to fire the 7x57 at that fleeing quail.

The front trigger fires the rifle and it is easy to learn. The rear trigger fires the shotgun and rifle trigger also has a set trigger feature.
This picture shows the barrels and you can see how nice the rust bluing is:

And here it is with the 12 gage barrel set. You can thus use it as an over under shotgun

Fudd guns are not really my thing, but that's a really nice piece.

Fudd is a mindset, not a gun.
Gorgeous firearm Fluffy.

You have some great cz's OP. I don't have any of their long guns, but I do love my 75. I know the purists don't like the decocker version, but the handguns that I have most experience with are da/sa or striker, so I opted for it so it would feel more natural for me.
