Watched this campy gore-fest tonight. Dont waste your money. Good points: Mini-14 Brunette woman's body mean german shepard Camper turning into virtual killing machine near the end Bad points: Everything else. |

Quoted: The thing that MAINLY pissed me off about that movie was it's failure to explain anything. Everyone in the cabin got it from the bum in the woods. But, how did he get it?! From his dog. It was either an ebola type virus or flesh eating bacteria. Funny that the dorky kid with the rifle had the best instincts at the onset. Stay the hell away from the sick dude. |

I lost interest in the movie after she got sick [;)] |

Quoted: Good points: Brunette woman's body her name is Cerina Vincent. and she was also in "Not another teen movie" as.... get this... the foreign exchange student... "areola" ... who, by chance, never wears anything. (and yes, she is COLD... a LOT) Something REALLY bothered me about that movie... and i hope it had the same effect on all of you... James DeBello's character, Bert, portrayed the stereotypical "hold my beer while i shoot that" gun owner/shooter. Now, i have NO problem with the occasional joke about guns owners. Seriously, i don't. I got a HUGE laugh when homer simpson bought the handgun... with such notable quotes as... Gun Shop Owner: Whoah! Careful there Annie Oakley. Homer: I don't have to be careful, I got a gun. "Five days!? But I'm mad now!" -Homer Clerk: I'm sure you'll want all the extras. Holster, Silencer, Loudener, Speed Cocker. Homer: I like the sound of that one. Clerk: And this is for shooting down police helicopters. Homer: Oh, I won't need that, yet. yes, they are funny. BUT... we are ALL viewed like that. And yes, i know, "it is up to ME to show BY EXAMPLE that we are not" and i do this. but sometimes, it just sickens me to see these things. i know that this will not change, and i know that i am just venting, but, so be it. this is a forum of gun enthusiasts, so i know you all understand where i am coming from. i would like to see more movies where a NON-police/military individual, uses a firearm in a responsible manner, without any NEGATIVE connotation of his/her actions. i mean, black hawk down was great, one of my fav movies, but when you compare what you see the actors do in BHD with what you see "Bert" do... it just reinforces the "only the military and police should have firearms, because only THEY know how to use them" mentality. ok, rant off. sorry for stealing the thread. btw Cerina is HAWWWTTT!!!
