Do anyone have a list or website I could go to and get a list of cable crossover exercises.  We finally got so new equipment at our work gym  and it included a nice cable machine.  I know the basic execises but I am looking for as many options as possible.  Thanks.

Sometimes I move them out of the way so I can get to the pullup bar or the squat rack, not sure if that counts as an exercise.

Not a fan of cable exercises personally. There is nothing that you can do with those that you can't do better with free weights IMO.

I love the cable crossover machines.

It keeps people out of the squat rack.

Unfortunately, the damn curlers and shruggers still like to take up residence in the racks.

Boy, you sure showed me. I shall never be able to show my face on the internets again.

My point is that instead of wasting time with a cable machine, the vast majority of people would be much better served hitting the weights hard....by doing all sorts of deadlifts, squats, Oly lifts etc...

So if you think it's a retarded statement, why don't you share YOUR view instead of insulting people that disagree with you like a 3rd grader.

If you take a dumbbell curl, the topmost portion isnt (usually) the hardest part due to angles and it being close to above the pivot point. Do a cable curl with the cable set at elbow level and you will find it provides a different feel than the free weight version. Assuming one doesnt have access to resistance bands, tricep pushdowns can be done with a cable machine, or hanging upside down with a weight in your hand. Im going to pick the cable machine everytime rather than the free weight version.

Thanks for a few more ideas.  I don't rely just on cable exercises.  I jonly like to throw in 1 or 2 a day depending on how much time I have.  I also like to do different exercises to keep it interesting.

Yeah, I suppose, but I would still maintain that pullups are better than any curls personally...
