I tend to visit places that think way different than myself.
I guess I love to hear the opposing viewpoint and it's probably why I watch MSNBC more than i do Fox News.  I guess it goes back to that old idiom: keep your firends close but your enemies closer.  However, as gun owners I think it's our responsiblity to educate our "enemies".  Enemies being the people that tend to limit our freedoms base on knee jerk reactions.  These people do not realize that once you give freedom up you will never get it back.

I'm pleading to all the gun owners to make an effort to visit sites like the Huffington Post and Mother Jones and make accounts.  We need to push back.

Below is an example of an irrefutable message I tend to spam across these websites whenever tragedies like this happen.

California as the strictest gun laws in the nation.  Correlation does not imply causation.  Stop trying to inject more bad policy into the system.  Obviously it's not fixing the problem.

Back in the 70s you could buy fully automatic firearms and keep them in our car on a high school campus.  Why is it we didn't see this same type of stuff on the level we do today?  Something has changed in society.  We need to bring morality back.

Remember most of these websites have screaming comments so keep the replies short and to the point or they will be lost on the readers.

well you can either be complacent about it like the gun owners in new york or you can try to get your voice out there

If gun owners sit on the sidelines then I can all but promise you the rights you have today will not be the same 10 years from now.   Don't put all your faith in the NRA to fight the hard fight.

yep it's tough out here and only getting worse. I fear for my future more now than ever.  But all I can do is educate others, and keep fighting the fight.  We are on the front line and it sucks pretty bad.

Arguing with people on sites like hufpo is not going to do much to secure our god given rights.
Actually getting new people involved in guns, going to rallies, supporting candidates, and being involved in groups like the NRA, will go a lot further than arguing with idiots on hufpo.
That's just my opinion, it's worth exactly what I charged you for it.
