i have a very old S&W revolver. ...OLD. it breaks open and the hinge is on the top. My dad says it takes a 32 Long and that seems to be hard to find. is 32 Long the same as a 32 S&W? the reason I ask is that i saw that Aguila still makes a 32 S&W. thanks, T955i |

.32 S&W and .32 S&W Long are two different cartridges. Both are still being made, but the .32 S&W Long is a lot more common of the two. FWIW, the .32 S&W has a maximum overall length (including bullet) of .930 inches. The .32 S&W Long has a maximum overall length of 1.280 inches. Checking the cylinder length might help identify the proper round. |
