Hi all, this is my first post in this section. Last night we installed a Belkin Rack Mount Keyboard/LCD/KVM unit into our new server rack (this unit). It uses high density 50 pin SCSI-2 connectors to attach to the KVM (2 machines per connection). Unfortunately the unit is so deep that we can't close the rear door with the cables plugged in. So, I am trying to source either an "L" shaped Male/Female Adapter or an extremely shallow male connector on a Male/Female extender cable of some type. I seem to recall seeing some metal adapter/extenders at some point in the past but I can't seem to find them anywhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Shorty |
The new rack has about 34" of useable space inside. XRack Pro |

Try Cable Wholesale Ordered a bunch of stuff from them before... not sure if they have what you want though. -d |
we have one of the 42" apc netshelters here. at first i thought it was way too big, but the extra space at the rear really has come in handy. i still think it's too big, but at least i feel better about it. ![]()
i looked at one of those in the fall. are you using it with xserves? |
