I do think one piece of information in the link is incorrect. I seem to remember 1lb of fat being 4050 calories.

Shoot for 1,000 - 1,500 calories per day if you have a sit down job.

To maintain weight you should consume 10 calories for every lb of body weight so a 200 lb man should consume 2000 calories a day under normal non exercising routines in order not to gain or loose weight.
