Hey guys-

What are the laws on packing a gun while camping/backpacking?

I'm thinking about tossing the ar-15 into my pack (breaking it down), but I'm thinking this is qualified as a concealed weapon.

Do you have to have a CCL even in the woods?

BTW, I'm wondering about in Utah and Washington.

Check "packing.org" on this, but I think you're ok with a broken down weapon, at least in my state. You could just sling it and "open carry", if that's legal in WA?
