So do many smaller vendors. ISP says stocks and grips are illegal assault weapons parts on their FAQ but major gun store chains openly sell them and have them available on their store racks. The law is so vague (intentionally I think) that it's impossible to comply with. They want to be able to make a criminal out of anyone if they decide to. Also if note, Sig has approval to sell the Regulator in IL. It's available at RangeUSA. It includes a complete MCX upper with,.of course, an upper receiver. They must have gotten ISP approval to do so. Id consider that good evidence. If you can't buy a stripped upper how can you buy a complete firearm with one? Also lends credence to being able to buy complete uppers. |
