I'm looking to upgrade my factory radio to something which'll handle iPod integration. After shopping around, I'd like to add a bluetooth and HD radio unit too (no interest in satellite). Anyone have any good experiences with a particular brand? I've heard poor things about the Sony receivers. How complicated installation and what is involved? I'm fairly handy with a toolkit, but I draw the line at soldering. |

visit crutchfield.com they have lots of great info and free tech support and will include all the install hardware you need. as for brands, even thgough I run an Alpine dvd unit in my truck now (I bought it years back when they were still a new thing and it ccost me over 3k) the thing didn't work out of hte box.. I had another Alpine cd player thta was DOA... Ive never had issues with Clarion or Sony or Pioneer...Kenwood either although I find their buttons too small.. But the crutchfield site will let you know what reciever is capable of doing that and which adapters (bluetooth, HD, ipod) are build in or already installed. |
