Might as well post it in this one too.

I've tried it and do not understand how it is done without seriously compromising mobility.
The only way it works for me is if I wear my belt pulled up to my nipples. Of course the thought of a Glock pointing at my main vein and my femoral is disturbing as well. |
| I recommend reading this thread pistol forum aiwb . My favorite aiwb holster is a jm custom. |

| I've carried a G17 with a VG2 and it's really not bad. I find the longer slide kind of guides the pistol out of the way as you sit and it really doesn't poke too badly. That said, I was always a little nervous with, as some have pointed out, a relatively light and short trigger and a gun pointed at the goods. |

I do it with a J Frame. Don't know I'd do it with a Glock. You do have to have a very peculiar set of safety rules. My big one is that the weapon goes in to the holster, and then the holster is put into position. If I draw the weapon, the holster has to be removed before I re-holster. Most of the accidental shootings you see from this style of carry involves the trigger getting snagged upon holstering the weapon with the holster already in place, or now holster at all. I use an old Uncle Mikes IWB that I've modified to make the weapon ride a bit lower than most. It's soft, easy to remove, and holds the gun securely. |

I typically carry a HK45c appendix.
Been doing it for years with many different firearms. I find this method conceals best for me even when wearing light clothing (tee shirt / jeans). Don't recall the manufacturer / model of the holster but it wasn't anything super expensive or high tech. |

Here's a better youtube vid about appendix carry:
Armed Dynamics Appendix Carry If you can get one, find a Kobelson Leatherworks holster. Its amazingly comfortable. I'm currently doing crunches with one on concealing a SWMP9 ETA: Kobelson |

Buy pants one size bigger and don't keep one in the chamber.

this, isn't the glock firing mechanism a cocked striker? Quoted:

No safety, short, light trigger, barrel pointed straight at your nuts and femoral artery. What could go wrong? this, isn't the glock firing mechanism a cocked striker? A semi-cocked striker. That's to say a spring-loaded firing pin that is hanging by a less than a fingernail's edge off of the end of the sear. If the trigger is not depressed, there is also a firing pin block but it doesn't take much pressure to depress the trigger and retract the block, IIRC. Misguiding it into the holster is moar than sufficient for a ND. |

I carry appendix @ about 1-130. Much more comfortable, faster draw, easier to tell if you are inadvertently flashing. I'll appendix my G19, 1911, and PF9; those are my main carry pieces.
The only time it can be an issue is sitting, however you can just cant the holster to fix that. |

AIWB is the truth. Unless I wear a shit belt, or wear my pants too low, I have zero comfort issues. I bounce between a JM Custom Kydex and a VG2, and the likes.. The VG2 does not tuck the grip, but lays as flat as possible, whereas the JM tucks the grip well, but the wedge design pokes the belt outward and depending on loops and how you're dressed will print more than anything else. |

Been documented at several shooting schools. |
