Okay, I have a new brilliant idea. I am in a national guard combat communications squadron and as such, when we get our comm terminal setup we are like the maytag man. While we are babysitting a terminal, we generally play XBox. Main problem being, in the environments we deploy to, they don't hold up well. My idea: Put the XBox goodies into a 25mm ammo can that is waterproof when sealed. Install a fan management system to manage (and filter) airflow and control temperature. And I want to do this using mostly .mil connectors (they keep out dirt and sand best). Any ideas on where to get parts such as the switches, fans, and fan controllers and most importantly a cheap source for a small LCD display that I can use to play if a TV isnt available? Anyone ever done anything remotely like this? |
