Watched Cashback on netflix last now.. Holy cow.. I like a good British Comedy / Drama every now and then.. and this is a very British movie. Neat concept; College kid (art student) goes through a bad breakup and gets insomnia. After a few days of not sleeping, he gets a night job at a grocery store. As the weeks wear on, time keeps slowing down for him. One night, he realizes that he can just stop time. Being a college kid, depressed, he uses the time to sketch the frozen women in the store. There is a love story and buddy comedy intertwined, and it is kind of one of those sappy type movies at the same time.. but fun. |
