based on the amazon description.. the 530 bezel is resin and the 500 is stainless and its showing the case diameter is slightly different - but other than that they look the same..

Most people with the resin bands say they fall apart after a couple of years. |

Brian What the hell is that time memo thing for anyway? A timer would be a million times more useful. I totally agree on the time memo uselessness - I would also give up one of the four alarms for a timer LOL |
