Alrighty,
My cell phone is starting to take a dump.  Now, I'm on T-mobile prepaid.  Since I hate phones, and the only person I usually ever call is my wife "I'm on the way home hon, I'll be home in 45 minutes" a calling plan just doesn't make sense.  Anyway, I don't really know much about phones, but if I get another newer phone from the same provider can I just put the SIM card from my current phone in the new one and be ready to go?  Or do I have to buy more minutes, register the phone, get a new number, etc?

Thanks

you can use any Tmobile phone on TMO prepaid. And you can use unlocked iphones and any other unlocked GSM phone. Just take the old sim out and drop in into the new phone. Your phone number is tied to your sim, so you will have the same number

Cool.  So I can just go to Target, pick out my Tmoblile prepaid phone, bring it home, charge it, put in my current SIM card and I'm GTG?
