The German socialist progressive and artist Hitler brought change, especially to the 6 million Jews he killed. And he brought change to the 15 million Christians he killed, but they were Christians so no one in the media cares. The Russian liberal democrat progressives: Marx, Engles, Lennin and especially the artist Stalin brought change to the 62 million people they killed. Chinese liberal democrat progressives: the poet Mao and the dancer Madame Mao brought change to the 77 million they killed. In that big change, the Great Leap Forward, 42 million died. Liberal progressive democrat Pol Pot brought change to the 25% or so of his countrymen he killed. Cuban democrat progressive Fidel Castro brought change to the thousnads his firing squads killed. If a system is operating close to optimal, as good as it gets, then any change can only make the system work worse, not better. The American economy is the strongest economy in the history of the world...even though there is a bubble induced sag at the moment. Americans have never had more than they do right now. Never ever. The present situation is close to optimal, as good as it gets. Nobody on the political Left is smart enough to bring any change that will make things better. Hillery has an undergraduate degree in political science (fantasy) and a doctorate in law (double fantasy). Obama also has a BA in political science (fantasy) and a doctorate in law (double fantasy). Even if they had the gross intelligence needed and they don't or they would not be on the political Left, they don't have the education or experience to deal with reality. One cannot build great things on an intellectual foundation of jello. So, America faces a hopeless future if they win, a future of change for the worse. All great civilizations come to a tragic end. That IS change. |
