I have had the good luck to know Rob Chapman over the years. He's helped me with a few band choices and has been a super guy. When he came to the US recently,.I had the chance to hang out with him. Good guy, great player. Haven't had a chance to try his guitars out yet but from what everyone that owns one is saying, they are great.

I don't have anything really fancy to compare it to, but the fit and finish blew me away when I got it. Most of the pictures I've seen online don't do the finish justice. I don't know if I got lucky or what. I wish I didn't have a potato camera so I could show it off. I got mine back when Andertons was the only place selling them. Felt a little nuts buying a guitar online without even touching it, but it worked out. I still can't believe how fast it came. Ordered it at like 4 am Sunday morning and had it by 10 am Wednesday. Still in tune. Now I really want an ML-1. And a CAP-10. And that gold top ML-2 is real purdy. Ordering from Britain was a learning experience too; Apparently there is a tariff on musical instruments. Gibson, Fender, and PRS probably wouldn't survive without it. ![]() |
