WTF is this bullshit!?!

So, I got a new customer, and we work out a pay in advance deal (into 4 figures).  But, I get an e-mail from Chase, and I have to open an account, or at least set-up a login/password, plus give them a bunch of personal information to get the money transferred to my account.

Fuck this shit, I'm telling this guy to take his business elsewhere.

Am I nuts?

no different than sending or recieving money from PayPal.

Ease of use has it's disadvantages

Can you not ask him for a check?  Or possibly a CC/debit card?

Lots of places don't take AMEX, so why not just say "we don't play that Chase Quick Pay bullshit" and tell the buyer to come up with a different payment method?

Yes, I'll do something like that.  But, it raises serious questions about ever offering terms of payment, and Got forbid, credit to this customer.

He'll set you up as a Bill Pay payee and you'll get checks in the mail just the same.

It doesn't sound like he hasn't got the money, just that he's big on new-tech ways to spend it.
