I haven't messed with building a computer in a couple years and don't really know where to look any more.  I just want a cheapy 19" LCD monitor.  Not gaming, just something cheap for web browsing and fooling around with CAD programs at home.

Is Pricewatch the way to go?

I don't like to go too cheap on them.  I just buy whatever ACER fits the bill from NEWEGG.  I usually don't end up spending much more.  But I know I'll get a quality monitor and good service.

I seldom see any large ones on CL that are any substantial savings over a new and warrantied monitor from Tigerdirect or Geeks.

And trust me, I've looked. You can find 14" and 15" ones cheap, but who the fuck wants one that small?

I got a Hanshee high def 22" at Best Buy for $199. Its an "off" brand but it works great and the 3 years warranty was only $30.

Acer I bought a black friday online wally world deal 19 inches and .97 shipping got it right away the bad part is sales tax
