+1  There were brief, 10-20 second, beams of sunshine that were breaking through the spring thunderheads...  makes everything glow.

What setting did you use to get that effect on the sunflower?  Is it a Macro setting?
I dumped a bunch of money on a decent Canon camera and damned if I can understand all that stuff that it does.
