Nice... I love that kind of weather. Dark, gray skies but still sunny. Makes the grass and trees look really rich.

+1 There were brief, 10-20 second, beams of sunshine that were breaking through the spring thunderheads... makes everything glow.

I like the symbolism of it.

dark clouds, storm coming, but still try to find the beauty in this world.

What setting did you use to get that effect on the sunflower? Is it a Macro setting?
I dumped a bunch of money on a decent Canon camera and damned if I can understand all that stuff that it does.
