It's that time of year where every man swallows his pride to show his love for his significant other.

With that in mind, what is a good list of chick flicks? Gonna try that whole dinner/movie thing. Just need to figure out what movie. It's all happening at home, so preferably something that is out on DVD.

Those are some of my favs. There are others such as Steel Magnolias and some similar that i just watch with the girls. Not really the types of movies to watch with a guy.

Man on Fire? Seriously? I dunno, a movie where a guy puts explosives up another mans ass and detonates them isn't exactly a chick flick. That said, my girl loves that movie

I hereby nominate The Notebook as the quintessential chick flick.

I give my nod to The Notebook, too, as well as Love, Actually, which is my favorite chick flick.






Still haven't forced the boyfriend to watch that with me yet, although I plan to soon.
