I think it's one of those Saturdays that begs for an assault on the gut by a Chinese buffet.   Anybody else gonna do the same?

Chinese buffet's are the best, there's a few that are craptacular, but mostly the one's around here are top notch. I've been craving Chinese food all week

I haven't been able to eat Chinese food in over a year... not since we went to the local buffet place and my brother-in-law ate something that looked like minced tentacles (can-o-squid?) and something else that looked like a disembodied vagina 
I could eat something from a nice sort-of Chinese place like PF Chang, and I still love other Asian food (mmmm, sushi...) but cheap takeout Chinese doesn't fly. It really upsets my wife, too; she can't have it unless I'm gone for some reason. |

I LOOOOOVE Chinese food. There's a decent restaurant in town, but it's expensive and I have to walk a little over a mile through the freezing cold to get to it. And I'm not sure exactly where it is, so I could be wandering around for God knows how long trying to find this little hole-in-the-wall Chinese place.
But yeah, if the weather was warmer and I knew exactly where it was, I'd be eating there. Hmmm... I'm thinking Chinese for lunch tomorrow.

I've been eating like a slob that past 3 days...need to get back on the wagon today It's the new Caturday, only with food that'll make you morbidly obese. It is also my creation. But Chinese people aren't morbidly obese, and they eat Chinese food every day!

Went to one Saturday, had to brave the shit-tastic snow storm here but when I wants me some norinco I'm gonna get it!
BTW, anyone ever wonder who owns/runs these places, where the food some from, where the waitresses come from (one near me has some that I'd love to feed my "hot dog" to) |

I had chinese food yesterday (saturday) from an exceptional restaurant out in the countryside that roasts chickens in special furnace oven deals. Skin becomes candy, served piping hot, liquid fat under the skin, outstandingly delicious.
Our party of four consumed four small wild chickens, one fish, one plate of vegetables from the restaurant's garden, one tureen of slow cooked delicious soup, several mushrooms, and home made mijiu rice wine. So good-ah. |
