You’re thinking incorrectly.  Mary was a virgin meaning never had lain with a man.

Jesus has a father - according to scripture it’s God thru the power of His Holy Spirit.

He is a He - XY.  According to scripture.  It pulls no punches on sexuality.

Basic biology says you need the XX/XY union to produce the human child.
XX from Mary, XY from God.  Basic biology and critical for Jesus as our Messiah.

Christians can't make up their mind where Jesus was born (inside the inn or outside the inn), nor, if there was a census taken or not.....

...so I'm not surprised some are claiming Jesus is trans and some think he was straight.

Matthew vs. Luke account of how Jesus was born and the timing of the census.

Matthew 2:1-23 creates the story of King Herod's threat and the flight to Egypt, forcing them to resettle in Nazareth but from Bethlehem.

Luke 2:1-20 Opposite directions. Family from Bethlehem and ending up in Nazareth.

Also, the census of Quirinius occured in 6CE which is 10 years after King Herod. How can Matthew claim Herod reigned during the birth of Jesus if the census was after his death?

Malokoi.

Bible condemned the practice and the people that did it and called them to repentance and fixing their lives.

added: I jumped the gun and thought the argument was about something else.  Oddly, still on topic for the thread, just not the post replied to.

Obviously I was referring to the debate this thread is about not the census. Since your concerned for the census debate there is not a single list that has survived from Roman times containing the names of all the governors of syria.  If some actual records get found it's probably just going to be no contradiction like similar sounding names or same guy served twice, etc.

Yes, but actually No.

Augustine of Hippo (AKA "Saint Augustine", a Roman citizen from what's now Algeria) announced an official Church doctrine in the 5th Century CE that 'Original Sin' emanates from male sperm.  So, since everyone on Earth since Adam except Jesus of Nazareth was conceived by a mother receiving fertilization from a man's sperm all of humanity is predestined for sin and therefore Jesus was the world's only naturally sinless being from birth.

Neither Jesus nor Paul said or taught anything remotely like this, but no existing movement of Christianity I'm aware of formally revoked or abrogated Augustine's declaration.  It's still official Church canon and therefore inherently "Biblical".  That's how it works.
