Hi
Just in case you are not aware the Cisco exams ICND1 and ICND2 just changed so look up what has changed before hand. Kid DANG IT STARTED A NEW THREAD BY ACCIDENT DOH! |
| Neither are hard and they cover the most BASIC of skillsets you need to be anchored in. Layer 2 and spanning-tree should be a no-brainer for any bit wrench looking for a job. Study up and feel free to post example problems here. It's a skilled trade, you gotta learn and master some basics. |

That stuff is basic yes. Where most people have trouble is with routing/routed protocols and specific configuration and troubleshooting challenges and scenarios. I wouldn't expect to see anyone have trouble describing the memorization stuff like the OSI/TCP model, protocol specifics, packets and their construction, etc. Students who don't have practical backgrounds struggle when it gets to practical application.
