Hey I was wondering what all you have to go through to get one of those Class 3 FF Licenses to legally own fully automatic firearms? And how much does it cost a person per year? Because I would like to get a permit someday. And another thing I was curious about is this guy at work who is real into guns like me told me that if you have one that the guns have to be made before 1986? That isn't true right? Seems kinda hard to believe. Because why would it matter what year it was made if you have a Class 3 Permit. And one last thing. Do those things that modify the trigger that mount on the trigger to make it full auto that Delta Force catalogs sell legal to have on your gun and if so do they really work? Or is Delta lying about that to sell there product?

class 3 weapons manufactured before 1986 are the only ones legally available for transfer to individuals via a tax stamp not a license.  And it is illegal to obtain a Class 3 FFL for the sole purpose of obtaining automatic weapons.

1) Throw out the Delta Force Catalog - nothing but junk, and overpriced junk.
2) It is not a lisence, but a tax stamp - $200 per item, except AOWs.
3) Unless of course you are going to become an 07 FFL(SOT) and deal in NFA items

Check the Class III section of the site friend.
You will find MG prices are pretty high, due to the Hughes Amendment to the 86 FOPA.
Silencers, SBRs, SBS, AOWs, and DDs are all very affordable and pretty easy to come by.
