Anyone else have bad dealings with these people? About a year ago, I built an AR for a family member and ordered through PSA. They had a deal going on at the time where they was giving a free Vortex red dot with the particular upper I bought. When the upper came, there was no red dot. It took an entire week of calling them several times a day for them to straighten it out. Fast forward a year later I order parts to build another rifle this time for a friend. A few weeks ago they had a sale on a complete build kit which was supposed to have a Socom profile barrel for $499 and free shipping. I got my box and opened it up ready to put the lower together and notice there is no charging handle or bolt/carrier group. Upon further inspection, I pop the hand guards off and find a f#cking government profile M4 barrel instead of the advertised Socom barrel. I will continue to update you all on how they take care of this. If this wasn't the second time in row of dealing with this kind of shit, I would give them chance to make it right before posting but this is B.S.
edit 01/29 I called and emailed with no luck. As others suggested, I IM'ed them and within minutes they responded. They said they will be taking care of it so looks like we are GTG. I guess they are able to keep their prices so low due to all the money they save not paying people to answer the phone. Anyway, next time someone asks me to build them a rifle I won't hesitate to use them again now that I know how to reach them. Reading through the thread it seems some think that my frustrations are from slow shipping. The shipping time frames were not the problem. The problem was that the order was wrong and It was next to impossible to reach anyone to correct it. Had I not been a member here or others not suggested IMing them, I would still be SOL getting my correct parts. |

PSA has shipping issues every holiday season because their prices are crazy low. Between my buddies and myself the problems with shipping are minimal during non rush times of the years. Post rant on their industry page. Let them know there. They can be slow but so far I haven't, with my own eyes, seen anything that hasnt been made right. Yes they can be a pain in the neck. That happens when you shop with the low price leader sometimes. There are many good vendors on this site, maybe give others a try if Palmetto bugs you. Palmetto shipping issues are no secret on this site. But then again, all products I have purchased have been GTG. I don't patronize them that much, that is until the prices get crazy good. |
| Meh. I order from them whenever its a good price and not needed soon. Bought my rifle kit Dec 21 and it arrived to my door Jan 6. Ordered 10 boxes of American eagle xm193 last Monday, got here today. I've only ordered twice from them but they've been spot on, slow, but spot on. As Lug1 said post over in industry and they'll fix it. |

I ordered some magazines from them about a week ago and they have yet to ship. But - they did claim on their website to allow for 10 - 15 days for shipping since they're very busy at the moment. That's fine, but I think it's shitty business to process the payment that far in advance (not illegal, and outlined in their T&C, which I agreed to). Still shitty business. But that's to be expected from merchants for poor people.
Based on the post above I'm now expecting to receive a basketball. |

I'm sure they will make it right, but if you dont want to have the possibility of giving a company an opportunity to correct their mistake, start buying your parts in person instead of mail order.

| I have ordered from them half a dozen times. The only thing I can "bitch" about would be the time from order to ship is a little long compared to other places I have ordered from. However when I do get what I ordered, it is what I ordered, never any issues with that part. I just suck it up and know going into it when I order stuff. |

Quoted: Whoever is running that place is a fool ... iv only ran a welding shop w 5 people under me and I could fix it. After this long .... obviously the head guy doesn’t care. I've been pretty lucky. Never had any messed up orders. Just a little bit of waiting for uppers.

Bought my first complete upper and LBK from them Jan 2nd. Site said up to 15 days for shipping, and that's about what it took. Everything came out of the box in excellent shape. Lower went together last night with no issues at all.
I have zero complaint and plan to build a 20" A4 clone later in the year from PSA. |

I've bought lots from PSA the last few years and like many, I received some things quickly and waited a month on other occasions.
I do have two problems with them that I wish they would address: 1- they never respond to emails and calling them is a waste of time. 2- I've purchased things only to have them go "on sale" a week or two later. This annoys me. I have a problem with them right now that I am 48 hours in to not receiving a response from them. I suspect the issue will never be resolved. I avoided them this past Black Friday/ Xmas week and found some other cool companies to work with. Sooner or later, companies with poor service will pay the price. Home Depot found that out the hard way. |

The last time I ordered 5 OD windowed Pmags and took me almost 7 weeks to get them. That was late 2009, no panic in place. I think searching for reviews of them actually led me here so it worked out okay. |

Have had a BUNCH of bad experiences with them, I know it going in.
They've fucked up 1/2 to 2/3 of my orders. Sometimes it's in my favor, it usually hurts me, I just write it off, not worth the 2-3 phone calls and several hours on the phone with them to fix the couple hundred dollar mistakes. |
